Are the Ardyss International complaints about the product being falsely advertised true?

In my years in the MLM industry I have seen complaints about just about every MLM program I have ever looked at. It is for that reason that I am not surprised to see the number of Ardyss International complaints that are floating around out there in the echo chamber commonly called the internet.

I want to start off by saying some of the Ardyss International complaints out there do have some validity to them.  However, these complaints are in the minority and tend to be subjective in nature. A customer’s dissatisfaction with a product is based on their personal experience and is by no means shared amongst all the users of a product. While people are obviously entitled to their opinions, these complaints are purely subjective in nature.

Like any MLM business, lots of the Ardyss International complaints accuse Ardyss of using false or misleading advertising. Not only is this accusation lodged against the assorted product lines offered by Ardyss, they are also lodged against the money making potential of their multilevel marketing system.

So are the Ardyss International complaints about the product being falsely advertised true? Well, frankly, I’d be surprised if they were not true at least some of the time.  Multilevel marketing systems offer everyday people the chance to own their business. While it is incumbent on companies like Ardyss to attempt to police the actions and claims of their distributors, it is not logistically feasible for them to be keeping tabs on everybody everywhere. This means there are bound to be a small handful of less than scrupulous people willing to make claims about Ardyss products that Ardyss themselves do not make, but that is an issue that crops in multilevel marketing period, not just for Ardyss.

Then there are the Ardyss International complaints that argue that the viability of the multilevel marketing system as a business is overstated. I have seen these kinds of complaints more times than I can count in reference to dozens of multilevel marketing systems regardless of how sound they might be. The usual points of contention stem from the alluring promise of getting paid to do nothing from home, and being something anybody can succeed at.

Well, it is true; a well developed multilevel marketing business does allow the owner to enjoy a comfortable living while doing virtually nothing. But that owner was not enjoying that scenario from the beginning. Far from it, lots of time and energy go into any MLM business before they reach that point.

Then there’s the “anybody can do it” claim. This one is also true; anybody can succeed in an MLM business assuming they have the right tools. Anybody can turn a screw with a screwdriver, too, but attempting to use your fingernail to turn that screw probably will not get you very far.

The truth is most of the Ardyss International complaints are like the majority of the complaints lodged against other MLM businesses. They are usually voiced by people who have tried either Ardyss, or some other MLM business but did not get satisfying results. If you want to know how to succeed with Ardyss or any other MLM product, you have to know how to market first and foremost.

    THIS COMPANY RAN AN UN-AUTHRIZED CHARGE ON MY CREDIT CARD. THEY REFUSE TO GIVE ME A FUND AND TOLD ME I NEEDED TO COLLECT FROM MY REPRESENTATIVE. MY REPRESENTATIVE TOLD ME I HAD TO GET THE REFUND FROM ARDYSS. I WAS ROB FOR 114.40 AND NO ONE WILL GIVE ME A REFUND.
    DO NOT GIVE A REPRESENTAIVE NOR THE COMPANY YOUR CARD NUMBER. I CANCELLED AN ODER IN APRIL 2009 AND ARDYSS RAN MY CARD IN DECEMBER.

    Ms. Lavergne, I had a similar experience, except that I returned an item I was never credited for. This was back in January and I still have yet to get a refund for the same reason they gave you: because I’m supposed to get it from the representative (who, frankly, has not been cooperative). I try to forget about it but I’m furious that they acknowledge receiving the item but get off keeping my money b/c, as the customer service agent told me, that’s just the way it is. Furthermore, in response to Ms. Gant’s clearly lopsided article, it is their job to oversee (or police if you prefer) their employees, which is exactly what a distributor is. These transactions are being done in Ardyss’ name, and the products bear their label. If they can’t protect their customers, who are the source of their success, then that’s an example of poor business practices.

    To the President of ARDYSS:

    I am complaining about this company withdrawing money from my bank account without my permission for the past two month. I over looked this in March because I did not throughly check my statement, but my April statement also shows a check card purchase that I did not authorize your company to withdraw from my account. I have a case open, but I am not satisfied with this, I do pray my refund is swiftly placed back into my account, $23.22 because this to me is call stealing, it happened not once but twice, its called stealing and perhaps someone in this company assume it would go unnoticed, because I did not catch it in March. Please correct your error, before the authorities are brought in to investigate this matter for me.
