First off, I want to let you know that this Monavie review is going to be one of the most unique reviews you’re going to find about the MonaVie company online.
And I’ll tell you why…
Few people on the planet can really speak from the vantage point that I can about the good, the bad, the ugly, and whether or not the Monavie opportunity is a scam. (You’ll learn more about that in one second)
You know, there are TONS of people on the Internet who really have no clue what they are talking about when it comes to reviewing most network marketing opportunities. Some people have very limited knowledge of the product, some people have very limited knowledge of the opportunity, and some people just have very limited knowledge period.
I think that when you’re doing your due diligence about the real INTEGRITY, EFFICACY, and LEGITAMCY of the Monavie acai berry product and MLM opportunity… you have to be very careful about who’s perspectives you really value.
The only reason I’m giving this warning before I dive right in and begin exploring the truth about whether Monavie is a scam, detailing all I know about the product, and teaching you some ‘Insider Secrets’ many of the black diamonds and top income earners in this company don’t dare reveal…
…Is because I’ve seen MANY people make terrible decisions in this industry based on mis-information, and mis-perception of other people. Decisions, that cost them a LOT of money, or waste their time.

The first thing I’m going to share with you is my personal experience with the Monavie Product & Juice. I have been using the juice for some time now, and I also have some people VERY close to me who have been on the inside of the Monavie opportunity for some time now as well.

Unique Perspective on Mona Vie
My story basically goes like this. 4 years ago I was introduced into network marketing. I failed MISERABLY in the first company I joined… even though I BELIEVED in the company so much.
I believed in network marketing so much. I KNEW it held something for me, and was a true “American Dream” type opportunity to really make it big in this country starting from absolutely nothing.
I felt it DEEPLY within my cells. So… I signed up in my first company and WENT to town… only to struggle, suffer, and experience much hardship.
However, this is when most people in network marketing QUIT, and more specifically, this is when most people in MONAVIE quit. They run the other way wanting to blame the business model, blame the product, or blame the Monavie leaders or company…
And as much as I wanted to do that… there was something inside me that was just SMARTER than that, and I realized that people who blame others for whatever they are experiencing, and whatever results they have in life… are very POOR people.
They are poor both spiritually, mentally, physically, and often times financially as well.
I refused to accept that. So what I did was I started SEEKING SOLUTIONS to the problems I was facing in my life.
That might be why you are here right now. You might be experiencing health problems, or financial problems, or you just WANT something more for yourself… who knows. But I can guarantee you’re reading this right now because you have some problem that the Monavie product or opportunity could help you solve.
In any case, I later realized this is a MAJOR characteristic and trait of successful people. Remember this…

It’s that simple. Successful people solve problems in life. No matter what the problems are… successful people do not stop until they solve them.
So at the age of 22, I turned my attention toward the Internet looking for the answers as to why I was broke, struggling, failing in network marketing.
A LOT transpired in the last few years. Lets suffice it to say that SINCE THAT DAY of being a 22 year old kid with no knowledge of success, no clue what I was going to do with my life…
All I had going for me was that I was full of PASSION & HEART… I have since turned into someone completely DIFFERENT than who I was just a few short years ago. (I’ll explain more about how you NEED to do this if you want to be successful in life in one minute)
Now, at the age of 25 I am a multi-million dollar earner annually in the network marketing industry. I am one of the top income earners in the network marketing company I am a part of. And I actually run one of the largest online network marketing training companies in the industry… ( You can google my name: Jonathan Budd and just see what you find)
And I’ve basically done all this in the last 3 years.
So honestly folks, the American Dream, whatever the heck that means to you, is NOT dead.
To me, it just stands for PASSION, INSPIRATION, and endless possibilities. And my life has been a direct example of how all of this is still possible for any of us. How many 25 year olds do you know who are multi-millionares? That’s what I thought… and here’s how it relates to Monavie so much.
I have been able to observe the MONAVIE opportunity from the INSIDE, having direct connections with lots of top leaders and connections in the company, and I can tell you there are a few things you NEED to know about Mona Vie if you’re even thinking about joining this company or buying their acai juice product.
Lets start with the MonaVie products:
Monavie Products
Monavie now has 2 products. Their signature product is the Monavie acai juice which has been selling successfully for years.
The second is their new Energy drink called Monavie EMV. I have been using both these products for a while now and here has been my experience.
Now, I don’t have huge health problems to begin with, so there’s nothing that really sticks out to me when I have drank the Monavie juice other then I LIKED it.
It’s actually one of my favorite network marketing products in the industry, I think it tastes good, and it’s enjoyable to drink. I can NOT be the one to make a decision for you however if you think the price of the juice is justifiable for the health benefits it gives YOU.
I can only speak for myself, and I think one of the main problems in this industry is many people trying to tell others NOT to experience things for themselves.
I know people who LOVE the Monavie juice, I know people who think it’s completely useless. I know people who swear on their lives that it’s cured strange illnesses, and I know people who never felt a darn thing and thought it was a waste of money.
The bottom line is… YOU can be the only one to really determine that based on your own experiences. I recommend everyone experience things for themselves to really find out if it has TRUE value for them or it doesn’t. Who else can really determine that for us in all honesty?
Here is what I WILL say however… one of the major problems I’ve found with the Mona Vie opportunity is the PRICE of the juice, and I will touch upon this later in the article as it’s one of the big things I think Monavie distributors need to watch out for in the future of building their businesses.
However, when it comes to creating good products… Monavie really does have some great products. They are more expensive then a lot of versions of Acai drinks or other things you can get on the market… but you have to weigh the good and the bad and be the one to determine what it is you really want.
Let’s talk about the Monavie income opportunity because I know many people reading this article are quite interested in hearing what I have to say about this.
First off, I’m going to say I have A LOT of respect for the MonaVie company. They have really done amazing things in the industry… and have been the fastest growing company to reach ALMOST $1billion dollars in sales in our industry’s history.
That is no small feat, and you HAVE to give credit where credit is due. Clearly there are A LOT of talented leaders in Monavie, and a fantastic management team to be able to grow an MLM company like Monavie that QUICKLY and without experiencing huge problems.
With that being said… I’m going to share MANY things about the Monavie opportunity right now that you probably ARE NOT hearing from leaders in the company, or on Monavie calls.
First off… Becoming a millionaire in Monavie or just being extremely successful in this opportunity is NOT as easy as some make it out to be. And this a HUGE, ridiculous, mis-conception that most people have, of thinking Monavie or other MLM companies are like some ‘Lottery Ticket’. This is one of the biggest reasons for failure in our industry.
People join thinking they’re just going to ‘Hit it Big’ somehow, and win the lottery… then they realize they actually have to BUILD A BUSINESS, and learn an entirely new set of skills. Once they realize that it takes some persistence, they run for the hills.
Those are what I like to call the ‘Never Had A Chance’ People. And unfortunately, that is most people.
Most people are just plain not cut out to be entrepreneurs and be successful. They are too conditioned by the day to day living stuff, to content with their secure jobs, and never having to COMPLETELY challenge themselves and throw their butts out on a ledge to ‘Dive’ into the world of being an entrepreneur.
MONAVIE IS NOT A LOTTERY TICKET
Mona Vie is NOT a Magic Lotto Ticket
It is no where close to being a lottery ticket. In fact, the only thing it has in common with being a lottery ticket is that the people who try to just passively “play” will not succeed.
Network marketing is not about PLAYING… it’s about GROWING.
The Monavie opportunity is not about you going out and signing up 3 people, who sign up 3 people, who blah blah blah.
That is a bunch of crap the top leaders in Monavie feed their downline or organizations… because it’s what MAKES THEM the most money.
RULE #1: Monavie and the top leaders are going to teach you how to build THEIR down-lines and THEIR company… they’re not going to teach you how to BRAND YOURSELF and build your own assets.
I’m going to let you in on a little secret in the Monavie opportunity & company…
The vast majority of what people are told to do to succeed in this industry is a CROP OF CRAP. It is mostly useless rubbish, that serves only one purpose. To have an average person go out there and recruit 2.1 people, sign up some customers, and basically leave it at that.
These companies like Monavie basically look at most distributors like they’re IDIOTS, and want to provide the most basic, childish, lame “Outlines” for how people can be successful you could imagine.
They’ll tell you that all you have to do to get started is contact uncle bob, and aunt Mary, and sign up 3 people, and then they get 3, and on and on. But in reality… how many real businesses do you know that were built from calling friends and family members or harassing people in grocery store lines with a 3 foot rule?
It’s BS. And even the people who DO achieve real success with those tactics, generally have a HUGE skill set before hand. Or, they have a HUGE network.
You see, what the top leaders in Monavie don’t tell is that they probably had HUGE networks before they joined, or had developed the skill sets of networking, closing, and being an ATTRACTIVE leader at some point in life.
My point is not that Monavie is bad, or any MLM company is bad… because I will tell you right now they AREN’T. My point is just that… YOU NEED TO BE SMART and realistic about what it takes to create amazing success in our world.
Of course Monavie and many other companies will give you ‘Watered Down’ versions of reality and success… because the truth is the vast majority of people couldn’t handle the Truth! They wouldn’t sign up…
Would you sign up if someone told you this?…
“Ok John, All you have to do is spend the next 3 years of your life building a network, developing your communication skills, working your butt off on a daily basis, failing miserably so that you can learn crucial life and business lessons, being challenged in every way you thought possible, and climbing your way up the success ladder one step at a time.”
That’s it man! That’s all you have to do… and then you might be successful.
The truth is… that’s how it works!! And that’s why the people who ARE very successful, understand the ‘Rite Of Passage CODE’ that comes along with that success.
Anyone who has made MILLIONS of dollars from scratch in this industry… understands and RESPECTS what it took to get there. Because while most people in Monavie will quit long before they ever experience real positive financial results… the people who are making MILLIONS per year in the Monavie opportunity clearly NEVER STOPPED.
They never gave up. However, there is more to the story that the top Monavie leaders and company is not going to tell you, and this is where I personally think Monavie needs to SHAPE UP and get with the times when it comes to empowering their distributors to reach greater heights of success.
The ‘Friends & Family’ and ‘3 Foot Rule’ stuff is seriously a JOKE.
I know MANY of the top income earners in Monavie, and almost NONE of them I know got that way through those tactics. Many of them have been utilizing online marketing strategies under the radar, or have been in the network marketing industry for over 15-20 years. (thus they have HUGE networks which is what equates to money in this industry)
Well, the problem is for most people starting out they HAVE no network. I certainly know that as a 21 year old kid getting started I had NO network. I knew NO ONE, so how was I supposed to be successful?
And this is where most Monavie distributors are dropping the ball, and completely losing out on the MONEY that is contained in the Monavie compensation plan.
In this MODERN DAY AND AGE… you NEED to have an Internet game plan to succeed in business.
The Internet is the most LOW COST way to advertise that has ever existed in human history. It is a MECCA of business. A total convergence of all cultures, all races, all ages, EVERYONE basically in one place.
And the most beautiful part is… when you UNDERSTAND how to put whatever it is you have to offer in front of them, there is literally an ENDLESS amount of money you can make on the Internet.
How do you think you got to this page right here? Do you think it’s an accident you’re reading this post right now? No way, Jose! I have STUDIED AND PERFECTED my skills at marketing… and that’s why I’m a 25 year old multi-millionare.
I realized very quickly that most Monavie up-lines and leaders in this industry are just plain STUPID. I don’t mean they as people are stupid, but I mean their ideas about success in this industry are stupid.
I realized that most of the traditional Monavie training tactics and other network marketing training was useless garbage, and wasn’t getting me anywhere. So I CHOSE to develop my skill sets as MARKETER.
I chose to LEARN how to generate my own leads, to take my business and success in this industry into my OWN hands. And then I went out there and took the most FURIOUS action you’ve ever seen to make my dreams in life come to reality.
If You Want To Experience Your DREAMS, And Live A Life Of Total FREEDOM, Then You Have To Do This Now…
You have got to start developing skill sets in our world that will equate to MONEY in the bank. You have got to start putting yourself at the cutting edge, and developing skills that equal REAL VALUE to other people… and preferably… that give you advantages in life.
You see, most people have no clue how to generate their own leads on the Internet. Most people have no clue how to really BUILD a solid, stable, healthy business like a science. Most Monavie distributors are running around like chickens with their heads cut off, not getting ANY real guidance on how to ESCAPE that madness and take true control over their businesses.
This to me is unacceptable. If you want to get somewhere in life, it’s up to you to make it happen. Monavie distributors need to educate THEMSELVES on the real principles behind success, lead generation, personal branding & leadership, and many of the other sharp tactics you can use to build STAGGERINGLY huge organizations in this industry.
I have used the Internet exclusively to become a top income earner in 2 separate companies in under 12 months from each other. I would laugh in the face of someone who told me to contact my friends and family… when I could just LASER TARGET specific people on the Internet who are already interested in joining my opportunity or in owning their own home based business.
This is a paradigm shift for most Monavie reps. Unfortunately, most have no clue how to change the situation they are in… and that’s why it’s so important to seek real MENTORS who aren’t afraid to tell the truth.
One of the things that I find a little annoying about network marketing companies like Monavie is all the “politics.” Top Mona Vie leaders can’t come out and totally say what they want because of the policies put in place at the top of the company.
In any case, all of this is irrelevant. The truth is, YOU determine what happens to you in life. And you determine how successful or unsuccessful you will be in the Monavie opportunity.
When you take the attitude of DEVELOPING your own skill sets, of learning how to be at the cutting edge of this industry, and really UNDERSTANDING how to succeed in business from a REAL level and not on the level of ‘Jargon’… then that’s when your life can change.
Finding a TRUE mentor in this industry (and in life) is an EXTREMELY powerful thing, and can truly knock years off your learning curve if you find the right person.
However, before I end this Monavie review today I want to share some final insights into the company and on success in this industry…
I think the Monavie opportunity is one of the strongest companies in our industry. I think they have done great things, and are truly a legendary company in network marketing without a doubt.
However, I think as a new person, or an existing distributor in Monavie who isn’t experiencing the success they want… you might want to SHIFT your focus off what the company is telling you and begin to look elsewhere to create major changes and results in your life.
Here’s why… a good friend of mine and TOP income earner in Monavie recently left and for a pretty good reason. Monavie is at almost $1billion dollars in annual sales right now… which means they are a very strong, stable, healthy company.
It also means that the MAJORITY of all the volume and money flowing through of that company is already established.
Often times as companies move into this phase you will see them switch and start focusing a lot of retaining PRODUCT consumers, and digging deeper into the customer base to crank out more product USERS. That’s fine… but generally when this starts happening it gets harder and harder to hit it REALLY BIG in companies like this.
The most LUCRATIVE times to be in companies are from when they go from $0-$100 Million annually… and there will be LOTS of millionaires created in that process.
Or, for what is called “Wave 2”. Wave 2 is when a company goes from $100 million annually to $1 BILLION annually… and in this process 10x the amount of millionaires will be created.
That ALREADY happened with Monavie. Meaning, if there’s going to be another round of “Wave 3” millionaires.. Its’ going to happen as the company goes from $1 Billion to $2bil, $3bil, or higher.
In the history of our ENTIRE industry… that has only happened with about 5 or 6 companies in the last 60 years, out of tens of thousands.
I’m not saying it CAN’T happen… cause clearly it can and Monavie is very talented. However I am saying that if it doesn’t… it will be very difficult to catch the ‘Wave’ of this company and be one of the multi millionaires currently in it. (the wave 1 & 2 have actually passed)
Take-aways
Again, this is just Mr. Jonathan Budd being very RAW with you here and giving you the facts about success in this industry. I’m not saying you can’t still make money in Monavie, because you can…
What I’m saying is its harder, and there is not as much to make.
I truthfully think if Monavie lowered the price of their product, or came out with something entirely new (probably the case) that it would take that to really hit a ‘wave 3’ growth trend like they need.
Personally, I think that the company will suffer some decline over the next few years as wallets tighten and people are less apt to spend $150-250 a month on a juice product.
My recommendations for the Monavie management team and top level leadership in the company is this…
- Don’t ignore the Internet, what’s hot, and what people WANT. Social media is hot right now, and people need a basic level of marketing training. And I’m telling you if you DON’T give it to them your distributors WILL go elsewhere to get it, and they will join leaders and sponsors who can SHOW THEM the mechanics of generating leads and being successful in this industry better then Monavie does.
- Diversify the product line and launch a spin off company with a NEW, competitive product that can get HUGE buzz. And is a unique spin for Monavie to recapture lots of Monavie distributors that have already left and attract new top tier talent.
Personally, I think if Monavie opened their minds a bit more and adopted a more cutting edge policy towards empowering their distributors with marketing techniques and tactics… as well as put together some GREAT programs in this area… it could be a HUGE boost to the company and invite a resurgence of distributors and talent that might have already left or taken the opportunity off the table.
In any case… I need to end this Monavie review. It wasn’t my intention to write a novel here but hopefully you got some great value out of this, and had a few ‘Paradigm Shifts’ about what it takes to be successful in this industry.
The most AWESOME people I know, as well as the most successful, are not focused on their ‘Company’, or their company’s product like the Monavie juice.
The most successful people I know are focused on GROWING. They are focused on DEVELOPMENT. They are focused on expanding their networking, learning NEW SKILLS, and on their own internal mindset and abundance.
Don’t get caught up in the ‘Rah Rah’ mentality of many network marketing companies just like Monavie. That stuff is all fine and dandy… but it’s meant for entertainment and belief. It’s not meant to show you HOW to be successful.
In order to be successful, you have to be extremely practical. You have to approach success like a science, and want to understand the deeper mechanics behind this industry and the millionaires in it.

I know people who earning money on it and some people who just buying the juice, because it’s a good quality of product. Not some crap, that you can buy similar thing for 100 times cheaper.
Always you will find some negatives in every business.
This is a good review about MLM but you never really went into detail about Mona Vie the company or it’s products. You were busy trying to encourage self promotion.

I like your approach on success with MLM. It doesn’t really matter what product you’re promoting, “success is up to you”. The company (MonaVie or any other company) isn’t going to make yourself successful, only you can do that. Only you can do the things necessary to make a difference in your life.

I dont think I agree with this philosophy at all, There is a reason why Monavie has created some 60 millionaires within a short time and there is a reason why it has continued to grow tremendously with generating $1billion in sales.
To me that speaks volumes, however I do agree with being able to understand marketing and the approaches to it. $1 billion in sales could mean a number of things most importantly to me it could definitely speak to it being a great product that both taste good and works.
The concept behind any health products are not the visible tangible things but the invisible intangible things as well. What is going on behind the scenes of this product being consumed? After all it is very high in antioxidants (of which can be argued based on ones own opinion; i.e. can I get more from a $40 bottle vs. $15 bottle) and I’m going to assume there is an understanding of how antioxidants function when they are taken into your body.
I don’t know, I tried the juice for 2 months and didn’t really notice any changes. I seriously question whether the juice really does anything, or if it’s just a big example of the placebo effect. When you’re paying $120 a month for juice, it’s probably pretty easy to convince yourself that it’s doing something – whether it is or not.

The point that you’re missing is that many foods and beverages don’t give you obvious results. When your mother said eat your vegetables, and when you did or did not like them, she knew best. Some people will get results and some won’t. This can be likened to how some people who are overweight lose weight while others don’t, and they are on the same diet–different results for different people. But most importantly, a person can decide to eat fried chicken, potato chips, and hamburgers and French fries only for their diet; or they may decide that they would rather eat organic low fat foods, such as salads, vegetables, fruits, and whole grains.
Yes, some people shop at Whole Foods because they care about their health. They don’t feel like Superman or Superwomen from eating the foods there. But they know they are healthier and can lose weight with added exercise. This is a no-brainer. Everyone is looking for a magic pill. First, start eating right anyway–organic and the like. Anti-oxidant rich fruits like Acai is just an added bonus to anyone’s healthy diet. If someone asked me what kind of supplement they should take, and they are smoking cigarettes, drinking like a fish and eating processed fatty foods everyday, then I would tell them, “How much are supplements really going to help.”

The juice can have an effect on those people who need it most. But as my nutritionist said “It’s just another crutch. It’s not going to heal you”…But it can be helpful. My granddad before he died was taking Xango (another juice MLM brand) and he lived allot longer than the doctors said he would. Now I don’t just contribute that to the juice alone, because there were allot of prayers going up for him as well. (He was 86 and had liver cancer.) He lived 2 years longer; where the doctors only gave him 3-6 months.

I have some experience in network marketing from my wife’s business. It was a uni-level structure. Monavie looks like a good product to invest your energy in. i think the real question that should be behind this article about Mona Vie (and any other MLM content) should be whether or not the supllied goods is worth your while…
if you look at Mona Vie you can clearly see a different product than most MLM products out there, as this has real value to it.
if you enjoy Mona Vie, and think that the price is just about right – why not enjoy it and make some money in the progress?
i think the true secret behind Mona Vie is the correct marketing of the product as a thing of quality, rather than trying to promote the money making aspect of it all, but that’s just my 2 cents on MLM marketing…

i know the company has been here before about a couple a years ago and created about 3 millionares. but the plan behind it made them fall back to zero..
with the auto shipping process is a passive income. its smart but in a way can fail.

i have to say.. here in hawaii. ive been blessed as being one of the first 50 people. and i have to say i wanted to share this with my close friends. cause i know i can help them make money. even though i know they wont make alot. but i know i can get them to a point where they are making atleast a $500 profit
who wouldnt want an extra $500 just for having fun 
i know there are alot of “scam” shit. but when i read them. alot of it has to do with that person.. not doing anything. just sitting there expecting people to come to them. thats why they post on the internet. its the bathroom wall of the world man.

Superjuices don’t come close when comparing costs for antioxidants. Example: A day’s serving of MonaVie (4 oz.) is $7.20 ($45/bottle) or as low as $3.20 a day (at $20 – distributor’s cost) A single Delicious Red Apple costs about $0.75
For MonaVie, that gives you a ORAC of 2, 698 umoles (29.57 ml per oz times 4 oz.times 22.81 according to AIBMR). That also gives you a total phenolics (all antioxidants) for the day, of 175 mg. for 4 oz.

Your comparison is only with 1 fruit. Monavie has 19 fruits. What is the total amount with all 19 fruits?
Also we aren’t talking about a “fresh” picked off the tree apple in your back yard. All of our fruit and veggies are “rotten” to the desired color in the groceries stores since most of us don’t grow our own food where it can ripen on the vine and that is when it is packed full of the antioxidants and nutrients. Therefore the nutrition is allot less in these products tha are found in fresh from the orchard types…but it’s still much better to eat an apple a day.
The whole thing is crap 5% make 95% of the money….. it easy to be convinced at the meetings that you will be in that 5%. Don’t fool yourself.. many of the people on top are those that have been in the MLM world for years. That being said, there are a few newcomers that make it to the top but it is going to require a unique situation and a TON of hard work to be one of these people.

Bit cynical my friend. The bigger question to ask is why do 5% make all the money in EVERYTHING in life?
Why do 5% of ANY traditional businesses that are started succeed why the other 95% fail. Why is it there is only so much room at the top?
What’s it take to be in that % group? What are the 5% doing differently then everyone else?
These are questions the 5% ask themselves when they are in the 95% group.
Most people complain, why, talk about how unfair the world is… blah blah blah, you can intuit where that leads most people.
However, true success is about solving problems. It’s about GROWING, it’s about DEVELOPING, its about attaining higher and higher
states of awareness and success.
It’s not about stagnation, and its not about adopting limiting belief structures.
It’s about opening yourself to darn near ANYTHING, and knowing it is ALL possible.

Good review here Jonathon. It’s amazing how hard it is to move any business any where without a decent marketing system.
You are absolutely correct. Only 5% make the money anywhere and in anything, not just network marketing, while most people are content to just barely get by…Think how many people are out there working the old 40 hour work week to just barely make ends meat while just a few push their selves to go beyond the norm.
Any way, here is my take on MonaVie. If you read their distributor income disclaimer – the bottom 50% – with a couple recruits are basically spending about $4.54 per week to get their juice containing 19 fruits, antioxidants, phytonutrients, etc…
Plus they are getting an opportunity to change their lifestyle. While their is no opportunity to make money if you spend that same $4 or $5 on Orange Juice every week – MonaVie seems to be a Pretty cheap opportunity if you ask me. The top 50% are earning any where from a couple hundred a year to a few thousand all the way up to 6 and 7 figure incomes.
But like you refer to in your article Jonathon – it’s all in the marketing. Attraction Marketing. Anyone can be cynical and critical sitting there on the porch. It’s the ones who get up and get off the porch and do something (with a proper marketing effort) that end up in the top 5% – whether in network marketing, as a business owner, or just as the employee who goes over and above.
I am a Monavie distributor and I very pleased with the product and compensation plan. NO, it is not a get rich quick business. You must work your business by sharing the product. I have had many people who have purchased the product just to try to come back and want more because they have experienced health benefits. It goes from more energy to high blood pressure lowering, cholesterol levels come down, glucose levels regulated, and reduce pain in joints. I personally experience health benefits. I am pretty healthy but I broke my ankle 10 years ago and it was stiff as a board in the mornings when I get up. But now since I have been consuming the juice, I can walk in the morning normally. Not waiting for it to loosen up. Everyones body is unique and experience different things. However, consuming 19 body benefical fruits daily in a juice form can only benefit every human being.(100%juice)
I don’t believe people will spend money if it is not working for them. I don’t care how much they like you. It must be a good product.
Monavie is only 4 years old and there is still room for more millionaires. The product sells itself. And the all natural energy drink is awesome. I have had more Red Bull drinkers convert to our healthy product.
Bottom line is your success is depending how much time and effort you are willing to put in your business.(do some work)
Jonathan, I agree with you as long as the product that you are selling is just. People that try to sell fruit juice as some high oxidant, disease curing elixir will not get my support. There’s plenty of products people can make an honest buck selling. MonaVie is not one of them.
I think if your a skeptic, then you should try it for yourself. Every product evaluation is up to one’s own interpretation. I have been drinking this product for about a month now and I feel more energy, I have been sleeping better, and I have lost 7 pounds. Believe me, I started as a skeptic myself. Even if you do not believe in the product, I believe in the M.O.R.E. foundation they support. They are helping the unfortunate in Brazil. MonaVie receives an A+ in my book!
I agree with Mike. I have to admit, I was very skeptical at first, too. Before I started drinking the Monavie juice, I already ate an abundance of whole and organic foods and drank herbal teas and avoided processed foods and other junk. I also worked out regularly. However, a close friend recommended that I try Monavie because he knew it would help with my sleeping and exhaustion problems. I bought a case of Monavie Pulse from a seller on eBay for a modest price. It arrived about three weeks ago and I’m on my last bottle of the juice. This stuff is for real.
So here’s what I have to report. I have lost about 4 pounds so far, my appetite is not as large anymore, I sleep much more soundly, I’m less groggy in the morning, and I’ve had much more energy than I did before. It is nice to come home from a long, grueling day at work and still have energy and motivation to take care of what needs to be done. The juice has improved my circulation and I feel warmer, my resting pulse is lower, and my heart is not beating irregularly anymore. It also seems to be acting as some sort of a cleanser. The only drawback with that is, due to my work schedule, I am unable to take frequent trips to the bathroom, making drinking enough water to flush out my system impractical. This has caused me to have random breakouts on my skin and occasional headaches during a workout when I don’t remember to take in a lot of water before going to the gym. The benefits far outweigh the negatives. It will be interesting to see what happens in another month.
At $45 a bottle, I am not inclined to “try it” based on the word of a MonaVie distributor. I’ve done my own research. I’ve found that store-shelf concord grape juice has a higher ORAC value and more phenolics than does MonaVie. I’ve also found the same result when comparing a day’s serving of MonaVie vs. a single apple. The apple has a far higher ORAC than does MonaVie. I prefer to rely on scientific studies than unverifiable anecdotes by someone trying to sell a fruit juice. If you want an explanation on why you think you feel better, google the term “Price Placebo Effect.” If you want to help people in Brazil, simply mail a check to one of the many charities found there.

Also, certain vitamins can affect the true measure of some of these units of ORAC.
If you don’t want to hear it from a distributor, hear/read it from the source of the scientific mind that has studied it for over 15 years. Also, by your thinking in your reply, why should we listen to “just some food tech” instead of a Dr. who did the research and work.
All MLMs require WORK to be successful. Anybody who thinks they can join an MLM and become a millionaire in just a few years time for no work is better off playing the state lottery. MLMs that work, offer more benefits than traditional J.ust O.ver B.roke methods of trading time for money. You can’t have both doing what 95% do. You can’t lead or serve people without first getting yourself right. It does take different thinking and the proper information to BUILD A BUSINESS. A training system is what makes this (according to Kiyosaki) a “B type Business”. It’s the system that leverages your time towards duplication and helping others to become leaders and leaders of leaders. Nobody wants a boss in an MLM, many join the opportunity to get away from them and I’m not talking about bosses or managers but leaders or mentors. MonaVie by itself (does work) but it requires more effort by you alone than what you can accomplish by utilizing and leveraging a training system. With a system, it really doesn’t matter what product you’re standing by and believing fully. It’s the community you build, the friendships you make, and helping others by serving that creates wealth. Without the community (buying volume) you have no business.

I just started on the juice a few weeks ago. I have had good results but the, interesting thing is I don’t have to fight with the kids to take vitamins or eat their fruit & veggies when I give them this. They like it. Do I really want to pay the price? I found this very interesting. I am thinking about selling the juice to offset the price. But I really don’t have a large pool of friends that can afford this stuff.

Did the person who shared the juice with you show how to off set the cost or even get it for free?
Matt, I have already read the studies by Dr. Schauss. These are the ones that I use to prove that MonaVie is not a good source of antioxidants.
First, the acai. According to Dr. Schauss, the freeze-dried acai concentrate has an ORAC of 1,027 umoles/gm. However, you aren’t directly consuming the acai. The end product is MonaVie, which has an ORAC of only 22.81 umoles/ml. It’s obvious that very little acai is added to the product if the ORAC drops that much. To corroborate this, we find the predominant antioxidant in acai (anthocyanins) is at an astonishing low level, as well (0.095 mg/ml).
Moving on to the finished product (MonaVie), again we use Dr. Schauss’ study, which can be found at: http://www.aibmr.com/news/pdfs/antioxidant-juice.pdf Referencing table 1 on page 8329, it lists the orac as 22.81 umoles/ml. and the total phenolics (polyphenols) as 1.48 mg/ml.
To compare these to common produce, refer to the USDA ORAC Table of Selected Foods at: http://www.ars.usda.gov/SP2UserFiles/Place/12354500/Data/ORAC/ORAC07.pdf
There are many items listed here with higher ORAC and total phenolic values, including apples, plums, almonds, raspberries, blueberries, etc…
The red delicious variety of apple, for example has an ORAC of 6,413 umoles and total phenolics of 520 mg. per apple. Compare this to 4 oz. (days serving) of MonaVie which only has an ORAC of 2,698 umoles and total phenolics of 175 mg. No contest.

Here you’ll find several store shelf juices with higher ORAC and total phenolics. This includes Pomegranate juice, concord grape juice, blueberry juice, and black cherry juice.
As a food technologist for over thirty years (five years in a fruit juice lab) I believe I know a tad more than you about researching scientific studies.
To Food Tech: Is a ml the same as a gram? On a gram for gram basis, how much does MonaVie have? Do you know more than Dr. Schauss? Have you won the Liones Paulding award? Sounds to me you are just tooting your horn. People who are smart do not have to tell people they are smart. I am not smart at all, but I can read. Nice try though.

Anyone who wants to become healthy can easily find a way to come up with the cash…look at smokers. I can safely say that at least a few of your friends spend at least $150 in smokes a month. Help them get rid of that habit by switching to a healthy habit, they will thank you for years to come.
People who are not willing to change, are quite possibly not worth your time talking to about your product.
I don’t smoke, and at 52 am in very good shape. A magic juice isn’t going to help anyone. Use the $150 on something useful.
So you have worked and reported and made ends meet for over 30 years… Mona has retired peeple in 2-5 years… What has your company done. How can you argue the financial benefits of Mona Vie… Maybe you enjoy a nice title and being a worker be… Some of us enjoy traveling! Keep your apples and your 30 years… Mona Vie is a Shift and you are too old to understand. Stuck in the 50′…. Stop hating on the folks that are making money… and getting healthy… We dont need you!

Great info and I whole-heartedly agree with a lot of what you say. Can I tell you about a brand new premium juice called Kakadu Juice which not only contains most of what is in Monavie but in whole food form plus a core mix of wild foods? a few months later am out of the wheelchair and feel better than I ever have. I am 71 and am excited that it has helped some people. No, I do not eat 4-5 whole fruits a day. This is easier. and it is nutritious. If the placebo works, keep on keeping on. It works for me and my
husband who is 77 and we are both on social security. I could not share it if it wasn’t
working for me. I do not believe any business, MLM, or other comes easily. It is called a lot of hard work, ups and downs but the secret is indeed, perseverance.

Going off on saying that MonaVie, “a ‘magic juice’ that isn’t going to help anyone”, is a very bold statement. If you have better advices for us, then please, tell us what we CAN use the $150 on. Whether you like Monavie or not, the company is still growing, their products are still selling. Do not tell us that other products have a higher ORAC, we could care less. If people have their own opinion about Monavie and how it have benefit them then just let them be, they’re healthy. Heck, if I am able to consume 13 servings of fruits and vegetables each day I am totally satisfy. Can the products that you have listed above provide nutrients from 19 variety of fruits ? I don’t think so. Notice how you put a lot of negative feedbacks for people to read on here yet everyone else is leaving positive feedbacks. Come back when you do an extra 15 years of studying on Monavie.
I’ll make a long, long story as short as possible. In April we were visiting in CA and a friend gave my husband a bottle. He has an inoperable cancer and a lot of other ailments including aching hands and neck. He drank Monavie for a week. Sitting on the tarmac he looked and me said, “my hands don’t hurt and I can turn my head”. I signed up when I got home.. for personal use..not as a big time seller. He has a lot more energy..not just staying in bed all day, his hands still don’t bother him and believe it or not his cancer has shrunk some. He does not do chemo or other cancer treatments. My daughter and I decided if it cost $100 a bottle we would find a way to get it for him. I can tell you from watching him that it is worth it and he has the energy to finish his bucket list. He was given 18-24 months when he was diagnosed in December 07…looks like it will be a lot longer!

I am 20 years old trying to work through nursing school. I was approached about Monavie a few years ago and didnt really think twice about it. Recently I was with the same lady and she told me that right now its free to sign up and become a distributor so I decided to give it a try. The meetings I have been to tell me to get 2 people to sign up and thats it. However nobody is really willing to spend that much money to get started. Any suggestions?
The numbers don’t lie! Monavie is a sensation! Only in business a little over 4 years and they have received all of the awards! It is so easy to drink the juice morning and night! Do you know what all that juicing would cost? No cemicals, no sprays, wild fruit! The things it has done for me? No more restless legs, sleeping better, more energy, better skin, and I could go on and on but Monavie makes NO health claims it jsut happens.
As far as money earners in direct markerting of the top 1,000 earners in direct marketing Monavie has the highest percentage of the 1,000. The other top 3 companies have been around forever and their numbers are not even close. Monavie MUST be doing something right.
I can’t firgue out what that food tech person has against MonaVie! It is a good product! I know everybody is entilted to their opinion but this person goes out of the way to SLAM MonaVie!

Hello.. I appreciate your realistic comments about MLM marketing. Truth be told, it can be a business or a hobby. A hobby is something you spend a lot of money on, a business is something you hopefully make some money on.
I just started with Xocai and we’ve had some excellent results! Xocai is cold pressed chocolate and freeze dried acai berries. This is what TEAM Mona Vie tells their prospects all the time…But you would not know that unless you were invited to a meeting.
I am not even on board yet with the business because of my FEAR of failure and having to talk to people. By hard work and sacrifice it can be done and people can be successful. Sadly most (average) people who get into MLM are looking for a “get rich quick” kind of deal.
There is a BIG BIG difference between TEAM Mona Vie and just Mona Vie in general. You might get to know the leaders on TEAM and then make a proper assessment based on what you find.
Of course there will always be SOMEONE trying to find a scam in everything.
I stayed out of the arena for one year while my husband joined the business and I have come to realize that it’s only by a strong dream and vision with allot of HARD WORK and SACRIFICE that any one will succeed in ANY business. Because as you put it — “Most people are just plain not cut out to be entrepreneurs and be successful. They are too conditioned by the day to day living stuff, to content with their secure jobs, and never having to COMPLETELY challenge themselves and throw their butts out on a ledge to ‘Dive’ into the world of being an entrepreneur.”
My major complaint with all MLMs is that each one claims to be the best. I have had my own experience where reps from a different MLM have tried to recruit me even after I tell them I am involved with a different MLM.

Monavie is an excellent company that has proven itself time and time again to produce millionaires and 6 figure earners. It’s truly just a question of how bad do you want it, how much harder you are going to work than anyone else and why you want it more.
But sometime in the MLM industry people face their inner demons which bring them into a fear state of mind which doesn’t allow them break out of their comfort zone and make a serious impact on their lives, or more importantly, the lives of others who deserve it as well.
That is one reason many people turn to affiliate marketing to create a full time income from their home. No products to sell, no people to recruit and no hassling with charge backs and angry customers.

eat an apple and LEARN MARKETING!
Since 1959 people have continued these “tactics” and it’s obvious

However, significantly, Johnathan fails to mention for Mona Vie distributors that his (all be it quite relevant and successful) tactics appear to violate the Mona Vie Distributor agreement (section 4.4.1 of global policies and proceedures) I think Johnathan knows this when he says “I think if Monavie opened their minds a bit more and adopted a more cutting edge policy towards empowering their distributors with marketing techniques and tactics… as well as put together some GREAT programs in this area… it could be a HUGE boost to the company” then he talks about distributors that may have already left the table, perhaps himself or others he knows. I would like it if Mona Vie was more internet promotion friendly and even willing to engage the retail market in a few more ways, however they’ve decided as a company that they don’t wish to engage in unmanaged business this way through untrained distributors. And by saying unmanaged, I’m guessing that the reason they don’t wish to permit wide, unmanaged internet marketing is because of the risk to the company through innaccurate, fraudulent, or poorly done web marketing that misrepresents who they are and could pose a damaging or even libel risk to Mona Vie as a company. All the useless scam articles that are not at thoughtful as this one are testimony to the mismanagement of the internet as a tool. Given the 100,000’s of thousands of distributors that probably haven’t ever read the policies and procedures regarding claims and distribution, this is not an unreasonable fear on their part I think. They do PROVIDE a personal website for those wishing to engage in internet based promotion, since I’m not especially gifted in internet work, I dont know how restrictive it is compared to other things. I think that it probably does present some restrictions for those who would prefer to build, manage, and utilize there own web-marketing techniques.
Monavie really is just a juice…even though it is a really healthy juice. For people looking to cover their daily vitamin and mineral needs…plus get an antioxidant strength 5 times that of Monavie, do some research on Eniva Vibe. This product is already making waves in the Monavie community because it is far superior in ingredients and effectiveness. Do a google search and see what you find.
I have only been a Mona Vie distributor for a few short months. I am part of Team Mona Vie. We learn and teach self fulfillment, as well as the product. It’s more about growing yourself, and making you the best person you can be. Sure, I can sell the product, but I am selling people on a whole plan to reach thier dreams and goals, by being healthy, wealthy and wise as one whole package. I don’t like to think that I am a network marketer. I am a personal growth trainer. In my carreer, I believe in helping people grow both personally and professionally, and have applied those same principle with my monavie. I am a healthy single mother of 3, who really can’t afford the juice either. But, I am drinking it for my future, and learning how to be a stronger leader and if I make some money down the road, that would be nice too! I believe that this is an excellent investment plan! Is MLM a good way to earn money?
All the business has a good or bad time. You may go through these stages. Success of a business always depends on you. MLM are good in making money. Only thing is that you should know the company in all ways whether it’s Monavie or any other company. It’s you who decide whether you can invest in Monavie or not. You can see lots of people making money thru MLM. Some people may struggle; some may succeed to achieve their goals. You are deciding your destiny. Nobody is forcing you to join. It’s your personal opinion or decision. Your hard work always matters. There are so many people who had proven their talents in marketing and gained happiness and new life style thru this.
Monavie, its different….
I have been regularly consuming different juices manufactured by different brands since the last 5 years. Every day i’d wake up and have a glass of juice with my breakfast. Many a times the quality of my day depends on the quality of my breakfast. It sounds cheesy but its true. One day my friend suggested I try the Monavie range of juices. I got a bottle for my self and was amazed by the packaging. I said to myself “The juice better be as good as the packing” Next day when I had Monavie juice, I must say it was way beyond what I expected. The taste was very pure and distinct. The fragrance was strong and attractive. All in all the juice was very nice. Later on I decided to try the other range of Monavie products. I tried their energy drink and it did not fial to impress me either. It was better than the other energy drinks available in the markets today. The other drinks do not taste as good as Monavie energy drink. Its the taste that makes all the difference, because all these energy drinks have almost similar ingredients. Vaden, I’m not the one trying to sell an ordinary fruit juice as some type of magic elixir. In my circle of friends, I believe that you’d be considered the foolish one. I have no intention of discontinuing my assault on this product. Anyone who thinks that MonaVie, or any juice has some type of super power, needs to take a basic nutrition course. I challenge anyone to produce a juice that contains more antioxidants in 4 oz. than a single apple. Anyone want to step up to the plate?
Food Tech, what has your research tuened up about cocoa. If there were a chocolate that was not heat processed and retained the anitoxidant levels of the raw cocoa would it be a great source of antioxidants?

How many antioxidants are found in 1 oz. of Jus International’s “Jus” product? And what is your stance on a variety of superfoods in the diet? If you eat just one specific apple a day, does that nurish the body just as well as apples and grapes?

I’m a business man, and I have to say that Monavie’s pricing structure just does not make sense. I wanted to see what it was for myself, so I attended 2 “tasting parties” and met some really nice people. I ordered 1 case/4 bottles, which the person who invited me had cases w/ them and just gave me a case and they picked up the case I paid for at MV’s local distribution center. I paid $140 for the case, $35 per bottle. If I wanted to lower my cost I would have to buy 12 cases, which brings down my cost to about $22 per bottle. Here’s the absurd part, I put my order for “pick up” and it still showed a “handling and shipping” charge!!? I signed up for auto-ship, which I later canceled, b/c I didn’t want to keep paying $140 every month…also to get the most discount, I would have to auto ship 12 cases…yeah right! Figure if my cost per bottle was down to $22, I’ve found “distributors” selling them on Amazon (to name just one, and don’t rely on a 3rd party website for your business, but that’s a whole other topic) for very little profit, after shipping and time cost calculated. So where’s the money to be made from-Auto ship of course! I’m the sucker funding the upline, and all you have to do is go get more people to fund your personal juice and you’re set? It’s a business, yes, and like every business it has competitors, like Costco who sells their own version a lot cheaper, and others as well that don’t require an auto-ship. Maybe if when you signed up you actually did become a distributor and didn’t pay tax on something you’re going to re-sell, got the same price for your auto-ship as for the 12 cases you bought, and there was some sort of map pricing to ensure some bone-head trying to make his points this month isn’t giving it away on E-bay. After all this going against it as a business to make money, does it really matter if it cures you of heart burn or what ever you’ve been told it did for Uncle Sal/Aunt Pam? I drank it for a month, 4 bottles, it tasted good, did it make me feel better, I told myself yes, but maybe it was the $140 that made me think that. Now the less expensive versions make me feel good also…! Monavie might very well end up selling at Costco for $20/bottle soon, since they managed to make a name for themselves, I’ll buy a case then, since I visit them frequently and don’t think they’ll charge me shipping and handling for walking through the door. As for the membership, I pay $100 for the Executive, which pays for itself w/ the the rebate from them.
The main problem I see with MonaVie’s reputation is that distributors erroneously say that it is a weight loss product when it’s not. It contains a great amount of antioxidants, which yes you can get through other means, and it’s a product geared towards baby boomers. It’s not for everyone but there are some people who can really benefit a lot from it.
As far as the income opportunity, talk to Jonathan… he is the man!
No expensive juices to sell just ways to save money and earn some extra $$$$
