It seems that society today is pretty negative. The internet is teeming with complaints. You can not only find Poker Training Network complaints, you can find iPod complaints, and Microsoft complaints, and complaints about any cell phone company or any credit card company.
So what are some Poker Training Network complaints you might hear? I am sure there will be complaints about the product, but that is unfortunately nothing new for the multilevel marketing industry. Complaints about the business opportunity are not uncommon in MLM either.
The thing to remember is that the PTN’s “product” is educational materials to help people learn how to improve their poker game. It is entirely possible to build a training method that will produce results. The main break down in these systems is always the student. If a student will not put the effort into the materials that is required it will not work.
Some Poker Training Network complaints will probably be about the price. With the PokerTEL costing $49.95 a month and the Poker EDGE tools costing $299.95 some people will almost certainly say it is overpriced. Value is in the eye of the consumer and I am certain some people will feel more than satisfied with their investment in the PTN materials.

Then there are the Poker Training Network complaints that focus on the business opportunity afforded by the PTN. Unlike many MLM programs there is no physical product, so there is nothing to ship, automatically or otherwise, which is probably why PTN calls its “distributors” affiliates.
Affiliates are not new to internet marketing but turning your affiliate program into a multilevel marketing program is not something you see very often. That is precisely what the PTN has done. The processing fee for enrolling in their affiliate program is no more expensive than the start up costs for many other MLM products.
Some people think the promise of a residual income from an MLM is empty. This is not true. It simply takes work to develop. Sometimes people get so excited about the potential of multilevel marketing that they forgot how much hard work is really involved with developing your business. This does not make it impossible.
Anybody with the right information can succeed with any MLM. Obviously marketing training is essential. Without that solid grasp of marketing no product or program will achieve its full potential for you. While there are bound to be Poker Training Network complaints I see no reason to take them more seriously than any other complaints customers have with any business.
Hey Elle,
On behalf of the corporate team of PTN, we would like to thank you for posting this. Everything that you stated within this post is completely true and all too common in the MLM industry.
What most people will end up realizing is that we not only have a superior product that took years and years of R&D to create, but we also have one of the most exciting business opportunities within an even more exciting and fun industry – the sport of poker.
I don’t know why the word scam would be used to promote PTN for it is hardly a scam and when people search for results, many will get turned off simply seeing the word scam attached to heading of search results, not good if you ask me. Tagging scam to any url heading is not the correct way to promote any business and anyone who uses this ploy would not get me as an affiliate.
