Though the comp plan with send out cards is pretty average in the industry, I thought their qualification requirements were tough on the distributor starting their first MLM. This as well, unfortunately, is pretty common in the MLM industry among other Multi-level Marketing companies. I wouldn’t see you making much income until you rise to the manager level and to achieve this you need a team of 12 distributors with three of them personally coached and cumulative retail sales over $3500. If this is your first MLM, without the right team or training this could easily take up to a year.
If you know what you are doing their compensation plan with the bonuses can make a good distributor a lot of money. But in looking quite surface level you can see three of the 6 ways to earn money revolves around bonuses from training you will be giving based off of your training or seminar training. There are pluses for both sides with this but you have to wonder why training is such a large part of the distributor’s income, especially on the manager and senior manager level.
One it helps the distributor understand KNOWING what you are doing is vitally important to your future success in the industry as well as helps keep the cost of the service down by making training a large part of the distributor’s pay. A win-win as long as the training can ensure the said distributor his or her success.
So digging deeper I found that quite expectedly, it will and it won’t. The content of the training is pretty standard but the quality of training can vary greatly based on the team and trainers you join. USE THIS TO YOUR ADVANTAGE!
ONE: Raise the content of your Send Out Cards team training. Take the time, spend the money… GET yourself very well versed in the rising and successful tactics to run and market a business online. Certainly if you are considering Send Out Cards, an internet based card delivery service, you must see how connected your knowledge of internet business and marketing will affect your success with this opportunity. The company training even touched this… which is just surfacing in the industry but expected with this specific opportunity.
TWO: Choose Your Team Wisely. I never go with the first apartment in the classifieds. The first hand in a poker game. You may have been presented with the opportunity by a friend or co liege but still… a powerful up line should have a good training system in place if you are new to the industry and don’t want to spend months to understand what it takes to build your network up to qualify you as a distributor… let alone the higher levels where you can begin to start making powerful incomes.
Ask Questions! Ask what kind of training systems they have in place, ask what marketing systems, ask what they offer potential distributors to help them get started. If they don’t have answers they the probably don’t have the experience that you should be looking for in a mentor and business associate. Though you may not have to completely abandon them, maybe you could present what YOU could offer them and they could join under you.
You can definitely make money with send out cards but you will have to do your work and study to achieve that. No business is easy… but almost all personal businesses, if done right, all very rewarding with all the freedoms and benefits they offer in the end.
