Should You Join Send Out Cards?

Should You Join Send Out Cards?

If you’ve ever been to the sendoutcards.com website, you’ve seen that SendOutCards offers a service that will send out cards to people on specified occasions – useful when you forget a birthday or an anniversary – and also offers a Send Out Cards business plan where you can join the Send Out Cards MLM system to generate business and income.

The Send Out Cards compensation plan appears lucrative when you first look at it, but if you’re like most people, the first thing you do whenever you see something like this is ask whether it really works. Is Send Out Cards a scam? Can I really make money with Send Out Cards? Review the materials on the Send Out Cards website, and you’re still left with the same questions. The Send Out Cards team certainly does a good job of promoting the system, but what about your own Send Out Cards business? Can it work? Does it work?

The short answer is “yes” – you can make a solid business and a reliable future for yourself with Send Out Cards. Training and education is necessary to do it well, but thousands of people are out there right now making a comfortable living as part of the Send Out Cards team.

If you don’t have a game plan for marketing & self-promotion that you are 100% confident in, use the strategy I lay out in my 8 Day Bootcamp. I’m flat-out giving it to you. CLICK HERE to get it.

But what the Send Out Cards website at sendoutcards.com doesn’t tell you is that promoting only one product isn’t the path to success. There is success to be had, but a single product isn’t the way forward.

No Store Only Sells One Thing

Go down to a local store, and walk into one of the aisles. Let’s say you go to an auto parts store. When you look at their selection of air filters, they don’t just have one brand… they have several. They’ve selected a number of products, at differing price points and quality levels, so they can make more sales to more customers.

They don’t only sell air filters, either. They sell air filters, oil filters, windshield wipers, little trees and leaves and placards you hang from your rear-view mirror… they don’t just have more than one product, they have more than one class of product.

Now look at their advertising. Most auto parts stores will have a flyer at the front of the store that shows you what they have and what it costs; pick one up, and you’ll see that they don’t put the name of an air filter or oil filter at the top of that flyer. They put the name of the store.

That’s how you succeed in this business, or indeed in any business: you promote your own brand, your own business, and not just one product or even one class of products. You may have a specialty… the auto parts store probably doesn’t sell pickles… but you’ll have multiple products that work together to provide concentrated value to a specific kind of customer.

In the network marketing industry, nobody is going to tell you to do that. Your parent company, like Send Out Cards, will tell you to promote their products. Your competitors will not tell you anything. But if you want this to be a real lifelong business, something that will secure your future and your family’s future, you need to learn this.

Whose Name Goes On The Advertising?

When you promote the products you’ve got available, one of the things to remember is that it isn’t some product name on the bottom of the check you write to pay for your promotional campaign. It’s your name. So when you promote, you don’t just promote the products – you promote yourself, and your business, so people know that you’re the one they need to see.

Put several products in your promotional campaigns. Don’t make it all about one product; it’s about you, not your products. Those products can be had anywhere. You need people to know YOUR name, to see YOUR brand, for YOUR business.

That’s exactly the approach I’ve used to build my own success. I don’t just promote the products I sell; I promote my own name, my own brand, and it’s made me millions. It’s made my partners millions. Thousands of people have achieved their dreams with my help.

When you really come down to the wire, it’s about the value that you’re delivering to your customers, and how that value makes their lives better. You can achieve your dreams, too. All you need is the right education, and the right training. All your dreams can come true, if you know how to get to them.

Finding The Path To Your Dream

The problem with promoting your products is that people don’t have to get those products from you. If you spend all your time convincing people to buy the Send Out Cards program, they’ll buy, all right… but what makes them buy from you? There has to be some reason they want to buy now, some reason they want to buy from you and ONLY you.

That reason needs to be some unique value that you’re providing to your customers. Your customers want to buy; how could they not? Who doesn’t want to send out cards on special occasions? You just need to give them a solid reason to buy NOW, from YOU. That’s the crucial part of your business success.

The Send Out Cards team won’t tell you to do this, because it doesn’t matter to them whether you sell the program or someone else does. So long as the customer buys, that’s good enough, and whether they buy from you doesn’t really make a difference.

Your Success Only Really Matters To YOU

If you want to succeed with the Send Out Cards system, you need to get the right kind of training and education that will help you market and promote your own business and your own brand; this is where the long-term success of your company is made. It has to be about you, so your marketing and promotion will generate customers that want to buy from YOU – not just wherever they can get the product.

Ultimately, you’re not going to make any money selling the product unless your customer buys that product from you. That seems like it should be obvious, doesn’t it? But people everywhere are promoting someone else’s product, and not really positioning their own company for long-term success.

Send Out Cards can sell their own program quite well. It’s in their best interest to make people want to buy their program, and it doesn’t really matter where those people buy. But it’s in your best interest if those people buy from you, and only from you.

You need to promote your own brand, and if you don’t know how to do that, you’ll have to be trained and educated on how to do it. Put your marketing muscle behind a line of products, not just one product from one company. It’s not about what someone else might have to offer, it’s about what your customers really want.

Once you’ve got a line of products you can use to provide solid value to your customers, promote all your products – not just one or two – every time you start a marketing campaign. Make sure you promote yourself in the process.

The Product Is Temporary, But Your Business Is Forever

The long-term process of building a business has to be built on more than just one product. It has to be built on the basic idea that your business will survive, even if every company that makes products you promote disappears tomorrow – that probably won’t happen with something like Send Out Cards, but sometimes there are fad products that disappear without warning, and your business needs to be built on a solid foundation to weather the years.

Ultimately, the Send Out Cards team won’t promote you – they’ll only promote themselves. So you need to do the same; promote yourself, promote your own services, put the effort behind an entire range of products instead of just one. Build your business and your brand by constructing a solid and reliable offer that gives real value to the customer; value they can’t get anywhere else.

And it is in this way that you’ll build your own success. Nobody else will do that for you; it’s your own job, your own future, and it’s your own responsibility to find the training you need and the education you want… so you can build a lifelong business, something you can pass along to your children, and see your own dreams come true.

One response to “Should You Join The Send Out Cards Team?”

    Ellie,

This is a phenomenal post. In addition to the points you’ve made, most legitimate organizations in this space are monitored by government agencies. Basically, they are responsible for all of the promises (true or false) related to earnings made by their representatives.

As an internet marketer I have been somewhat restricted because I can’t build a dedicated site to spot-lite the SendOutCards program with the benefits I see hold the most value. It’s against their terms of service.

So by branding myself, I can sell as much as I want and like you said, even if SOC fell off of the face of the earth, I would still have a customer base to sell to. Many experts have said this but it’s worth repeating – “the money is in the list.”

We have helped network marketers create squeeze pages to not only promote a product, but ot build their own list. Thanks again for this insightful post.

    All the best,

    Jarrod Morris
