Everybody, and I do mean everybody, knows the name of Donald Trump. He’s done a lot of amazing things in real estate, and is well-known for his public recovery when he was near bankruptcy. His television program, The Apprentice, keeps him in the public eye – and has made “You’re Fired” a national catchphrase.
And now he’s come out with The Trump Network… a multilevel marketing opportunity for you to market health and wellness products for the usual commissions and downline.
The question on my mind, when I first saw this, was whether Donald has finally just plain lost it. Is this some sort of joke? “The Trump Network MLM Business” just sounds… wrong.
I mean, really, MLM? Donald Trump, the very embodiment of big business, lending his name to a system like this? The entire MLM business is built around a grassroots effort, a small business opportunity, not something you’d expect Donald Trump to get behind.
You can do big business with MLM, of course. I’m one of the first people to admit that – with thousands of people in my own multilevel downlines, and a multi-million dollar company built on them, I can see exactly why the Trump Network exists.
“Looking For More Information On The Trump Network And The Best Team To Join? Click Here To Find Out More Now…”
You can find the occasional Trump Network review as you look around the web, but all of it seems to be the same sort of thing I already said; people are just incredulous that Donald Trump’s Trump Network exists at all. Trump Network distributors are out there already, of course, promoting and pushing the Trump Network business opportunity.
Never Trust A Dog That Doesn’t Bark
I don’t know about you, but I get a little fidgety when new companies pop up – even from a group as savvy and smart as the Trump Network team – and nobody’s really examining what they have and what they offer. That’s the way a “Trump Network scam” would operate; promoting the style and the brand, then skating off with the money while Donald himself just held up his hands and said he had no direct involvement.
They have a nice slick website at www.TheTrumpNetwork.com, of course. I’d expect nothing less from “the Donald,” and neither should you.
But what I found when I started really paying attention was truly different. The Trump Network business opportunity actually does have something revolutionary in it, which changed my entire view of the Trump Network.
The Real Trump Network Business Opportunity
What the Trump Network MLM business has that I have never seen before, anywhere, is a home testing kit that tells you EXACTLY what vitamins you really need. It’s not a matter of guesswork anymore.
There are all kinds of ways we use to determine what vitamins and minerals our body needs, from cravings for specific food (“I want spinach; I must be deficient in iron”), to environmental factors (“I feel tired; I must need magnesium and zinc”), to just plain folk wisdom (“I’m over forty; I must need more calcium”). But these ways are error-prone, and they just plain never work all that well.
So Donald Trump’s Trump Network has taken that out of the equation. Instead of trying to figure out what your body needs by learning some arcane system of symptoms and diagnosis – normally, people have to attend medical school to learn that very well – you can rely on state of the art medical technology to tell you exactly what you really need.
And that’s the unique selling proposition here. It’s what makes the Trump Network business opportunity a serious opportunity, and not just another case of some overhyped one-size-fits-all vitamin pill that turns out to be no better than the multivitamins you get off the grocery store shelf.
It’s Not Just About The Product
This is where a lot of people get caught up, and give all their attention to the question of how much money they can make and how they’re going to get people to buy the product. Skipping over all the serious business aspects of the Trump Network, distributors occupy all their time and energy with the question of getting customers to buy.
But as someone who has made millions in this industry, I have to tell you that the product is only the beginning. It’s always best to have a great product – and the Trump Network has certainly come up with a fantastic one – but you’re only just beginning to tap into the Trump Network business opportunity if you concentrate on the product. There is another, more important aspect that deserves your focus and attention.
I’m speaking, of course, about YOUR business and YOUR branding. The dirty little secret of the Trump Network MLM business, and indeed of any MLM business, is that thousands of people are out there selling the exact same products you are. They’ve all got the same power and trust that Donald Trump’s Trump Network gives you, for the same reason you have it: they’re on the Trump Network team.
So if you want to be truly successful on that team… if you want the recognition, the accolades, and the awards when the Trump Network reviews your results… you have to distinguish yourself from that team, just like you would distinguish yourself with any other business.
You need to put forth the same marketing and self-promotion effort you would if you were starting your own brand-new business, without the benefit of the Trump Network team behind you, or Donald Trump’s Trump Network brand. It is precisely because you get that without building it that you need to push hard on your own branding efforts, so your customers don’t want to buy from other Trump Network distributors – they want to buy from you.
If you don’t have a game plan for marketing & self-promotion that you are 100% confident in, use the strategy I lay out in my 8 Day Bootcamp. I’m flat-out giving it to you. CLICK HERE to get it.
There Is No Such Thing As A Free Lunch
A lot of people will not achieve success with the Trump Network. Complaints will inevitably be made, because people frequently forget that no matter how easy it is to start an MLM business, it is still a business – and it needs all the same things that any other business needs.
The Trump Network business opportunity is a great opportunity. It’s different, it’s new, it’s state of the art and poised to take the world by storm. A lot of people will want to buy these products, and distributors can make a shocking amount of money, particularly in the early days. But just like any small business, novelty isn’t a long-term growth opportunity. Your Trump Network MLM business needs to be treated like a business.
It needs to be marketed. It needs to be advertised. It needs to grow, constantly, to maintain the momentum that leads customers to buy from you – and nobody else – over and over again.
There is a saying in small business: “If it’s not growing, it’s dying.” Too many small business owners learn that the hard way. Don’t be one of them.
Conclusions: Donald Trump’s Trump Network Looks Strong
There’s nothing better in a partnership – and the Trump Network business opportunity is a partnership, make no mistake about that – than a well-known partner with an established reputation. Donald Trump and the Trump Network certainly qualify on that front.
The danger is only that you’ll rely exclusively on the strength of your partner, without bringing your own strength to the table. By marketing and promoting your own brand, your own unique and personal vision, you build your business.
And when you build your business, you become a well-known partner with an established reputation yourself. Even if your reputation doesn’t rival Donald Trump’s, Trump Network distributors are still better for the Trump Network when they’ve brought their own value to the table.
The raw fact is that in any MLM business, even the Trump Network MLM business, there are only so many Trump Network team members available to provide the kind of personal attention and assistance that can drive a company to the top of the heap.
Those team members will put their time and effort into the companies and partners who have already distinguished themselves; it is there, and only there, that a massive multinational business like the Trump Network can get enough value to make the time and effort worthwhile.
So the best strategy you can have, when examining an opportunity like the Trump Network business opportunity, is to consider not only how you can sell your partner’s products… but what value you’re going to bring to the table yourself. How can you be one of the top Trump Network distributors RIGHT NOW, even before the products are available to ship?
That’s the crucial question. It’s all about your business, and your brand, and how well you market yourself – before you even have a product to ship. In the next couple of months, there will be a mad scramble to join Donald Trump’s Trump Network, and only a few people in that race will be in the lead. You can be one of them… if you put in the work, and make yourself a strong partner worthy of the Trump Network team’s attention.

I am sure the Trump Network is a legit opportunity. However, it is definitely not one of the “lowest” overhead costs available to entrepreneurs. I work with Primerica, and their start-up costs are a $99 one time fee for licensing and prelicensing education. You may opt to participate in the $25/month online virtual office which provides all of the amazing training tools and support they can give you, but that $25/month would be the extent of your overhead costs while you earn some pretty substantial income. Just thought I would throw in my two cents.
“Success is not the result of spontaneous combustion. You must set yourself on fire.”

Although there are and will be people making substantial income from The Trump Network, it will become best known for creating more people losing more money than any other MLM company in history. Donald Trump has forever tarnished his coveted brand by costing thousands of desperate people to lose thousands of dollars. It’s already happening. Just because he used his name and money to buy into an MLM company, doesn’t mean he knows the difference between a vitamin and a suppository. We KNOW why he did it. Look for the FTC to be knocking soon.
Hey trumped you are right about what you state in your post. I really feel bad about the people I got into the Trump Network. They get their starter kit and there is hardly anything there for the $500 they paid. Of the 6 I got in 5 of them probably would not have if they saw the contents of the kit before they signed up. The food bar are a very high quality product but a box of 7 at $22.75 wholesale is way too much. That’s $3.25 each!!!!
I’m sorry my conscience just could not let me do this business anymore. I just joined JavaFit the healthy coffee and my starter kit consisted of 7 cases of coffee, 24-2oz bags per case. i also got 200 mini newspapers with a DVD in each one.
The regular coffee starts at $1.06 per 2 oz bag witch will make 12 to 15 cups of great coffee. I am now giving value along with quality and feel a lot better. I tell people up front that I am in network marketing. In fact I am now proud to be a network marketer.
I’m sorry Trump people but I can’t help the way I feel. I made it to gold but just could’nt win the battle in my mind.
I am always skeptical of new MLMs that begin with these giant marketing campaigns during prelaunch. Having The Donald back a company is a huge thing, but I definitely agree the only way to really make the big bucks in any marketing business is to distinguish yourself and stand out from the pack. It’s doable. But it’s work. Not a get-rich-quick scheme.
That being said, now that the company has launched (I assume it has launched….). Is there anyone out there reading this blog that is actually making good money with this company?
On December 19th I called up my 6 downline that I got into the Trump Network over the past 3 months. I wanted to see if they were going to be staying in because 3 of them haven’t ordered this month and they dropped their communication package. Well it turns out that I lost 3 of my six downline this month of December. Big comment I heard from them was the products were to expensive!!!! It’s true,,,overpriced products. Anybody can look at the stuff and see that. Just do people a favor that do not have much money. Don’t sign them up!!! Don’t give people a false hope that they are going to get rich. You may be taking someones last $500 and they think because it is TRUMP that they will make money. don’t get fooled.
I hope other people that are in the Trump Network post here just how they feel. My upline is very unhappy because I was her strong leg. I was the only person she had that had anybody under them. She tells me to hang in there,,,it’s going to get better. She says that she has to keep a positive additude. I agree with her. I tell my friends the prices of stuff in the Trump Network and they look at me like I’m off my rocker.
The only people I got in were people off the internet that I didn’t know thank God!!! I glad it was not any of my friends because they probably would’nt be my friends now!!!!
I’ve vented enough. Someone else needs to step forward and tell the truth about what is going on. Face the facts 1 out of 100 of you in the Trump Network will probably do great the rest of you will be paying for that persons commissions and bonuses.
I’m now in a coffee network marketing company. You can buy a pack of Original Roast 2oz pack which does 12-16 cups of coffee for $1.06. This price is lower then what WalMart sells it for. If Trump had it I’m guessing it would be priced at $5. I now am giving my customers and downline great coffee at a low price. http://www.coffeebusiness.us has links going to the opportunity that will let you sleep at night.
Thanks for reading this and I hope I save some poor person some pain.
Merry Christmas to All and a Happy New Year!!!!!
I’m very skeptical of MLM schemes, for reasons skeptics can find easily on the web. The one I am least skeptical about is the grand-daddy of them all, Amway / Quixtar, partly for the simple reason that it’s made the most money, total, for itself and its distributor force. But its biggest strength, I think, is something that none of the others, including Trump, can match — it doesn’t focus on just one product or category of products. Most MLMs sell ONLY vitamins, or cosmetics / skin care, or juice, or … you get the idea. With Amway / Quixtar, their massive network lets you can sell your customers and downline just about every item for daily life. That means they send you a much higher percentage of their spending budget, and you have much more earning potential AND REALITY per customer and per leg of downline.
Again, I think that even with Amway, you’ve got the usual problems of MLM — way more time investment than portrayed being necessary just to break even, no planned limit on “hiring” means too much competition from other salesmen, constant churn of salesmen results in many burned-out ex-participants spreading negativity out there, and the fundamental challenge of being price competitive with a huge up and downline hierarchy each taking a bite of the apple, especially now in the internet, direct-delivery era, and many more. So why add another headache, that of being overly focused on one niche product or category? Then you have to sell to or recruit several times more people than an Amway distributor does to make the same money!
I heard about the Trump network on the radio one day. I called and found out it’s just another pyramid scheme. It said to get in at ground level before the big launch in November.
Well December is almost over and i haven’t seen or heard any launch.
Donald Trump put his name to this? How embarrassing.
This looks to me like another company that the average person with no mlm experience will start, then soon drop out.
The reality is, Donald Trump has never even been a distributor in a network marketing company, and has never earned a paycheck from a network marketing company.
Why did he buy this company and put his name on it? I don’t know. I guess he can buy talented people to run the company.
But the reality is, you are expecting people to convince potential customers that they don’t know how much of which kind of vitamins they are suppose to take. Then you convince them that you have the answer, expect them to send in a test kit to get custom vitamins made just for them.
People are just going to get tired of that even if they try it at first.
Once the hype is over, this looks like it’s headed for a huge drop out rate in my opinion.
This might work better for experienced network marketers, but the avg person that lost their job, has no mlm marketing experience, probably won’t have have much success with this.
Hey,
I’ve got a great idea.
Take my 3 college degrees which I paid for and;
Go to work for Lehman; oops!
Well there’s always Bear Stearns, sorry about that!
Aig is a great company; right?
I believe in freedom, freedom to achieve and help others do the same.

There are losers and winners in everyday life. There are many people who start a business and fail, with a high percentage of those not in MLM. It still has the stigma and always will but like anything if you believe in yourself, the product, the company, you can succeed. I say CAN not WILL. Many people, especially the doubters are people who are happy to make a living, happy with a paycheck that they can moan about every pay day, i.e. these guy don’t pay me what I’m worth, moan, moan, whine. Always remember, It’s Better to Have Tried and Failed than to Never to Have Tried at All.
Not everyone will become a millionaire, Not everyone in the NFL makes millions either. Most small business owners make a living, not a fortune.
If you take the same amount of effort that you put into your real job and sink that into your new business, you may be surprised with the reward.
Check out our website, if you like what you see, we’d be glad to help you get started and support you as your try grow your business.
Happy New Year,

I really dont uderstand why Donald Trump decided to step into the “Wellness Product Arena?” Every vitamin, juice, pill, lotion, potion is an Industry that has hundereds of competitors. It has not been proven to me that the Trump products stand alone from Herbal Life, Amway or a similar product I can get at GNC? Ok maybe this company can educate the lazy consumers, and show them what they should, or need to be taking, but if that is the strong selling point that is suppose to get people to buy these products, it’s a weak attempt. Do your due dilligence on what your body needs in order to live a productive and energetic life. In order to create true wealth you have to align yourself with a company that is on the front end of an Industry and Trend. the product must stand alone, the company has to have a solid proven track record, not here today gone tomorrow. And the the more competitors you have, the harder it will be to seperate your Business from the rest of them out there. And there is much more that goes into being successful or having success in a new home-based business. It’s about having the support, coaching, mentorship and help from your upline. Personal Development is key too.
What’s in these products, anyway? Anyone have an ingredient list?
What about God’s law on food? According to God if we follow his law we wouldn’t need supplements.
The Trump Network is a scam is is just out to rip off people they do not care about your health or well being but only lining there own pockets . the products are a joke and no better then over the counter vitimins they lie about the marketing and what they are doing with the company . no Ophra show , No larry king live no midia blitz no nothing but take your money don’t be fooled by thoses that would have to belive otherwise it’s all talk and BS what a rip off this endevor was costs over 2500.00 out of pocket with no return . Evan my up-line is losing there shirts
testing to see if this will actually post. testing to see if this will post
Jb is right the product doesn’t matter, what matters is how you build your business…Are you building your business Online or Offline? Are you attracting leads or Buying them? The missing variable to having a successful business no matter what Company you’re with…is YOU. How much you KNOW have an effect on your business…Who you know & who knows you plays a big part but ultimately how much work you put in will determine your success! Good luck Marketers and keep battling.
God I am killing myself on this one. Family member who invested time and money on trump stuff is incapacitated in the hospital. The condition is basically terminal, and things have gone beyond the point where they will be able to contribute time to marketing scams. Have to decide to keep this going or shut it down like the scam it looks like it probably is. I am making that assessment based upon 30 years of being involved as a bystander in this family member’s various Amway, Tupperware, Aloe Vera, back-excerciser, and divers other programs that are basically businesses that act like religions or social movements. But of course, I cannot be SURE. I hate programs that prey on people’s dreams like this one *might* … but if I am wrong, they will be pissed. The horns of the dilemma. What I never seen mentioned is that you SEND YOUR PISS TO DONALD TRUMP so he can tell you what vitamins you need. Let me put it this way: I don’t care how well the thing is PROSELYTIZED, I am not in the way of sending my urine to Donald Trump so he can tell me which of his diet food products to buy. The basic concept of the business is not new, as has been pointed out in previous posts. I dunno, I am not feeling this one.
So true what you are saying about the trump network here. The re-launched business opportunity has attracted a ton of attention in the recent in the last few months, pretty much completely on the name of Donald Trump.
While this might be good in the beginning, ultimately you are going to need to learn marketing, and how to identify a target market, along with how to market your products or business to them.
